Protecting the Planet
One Chip at a Time
Dravincon's E-Waste Collection program bridges the gap between digital growth and environmental responsibility. We help organizations manage their hardware lifecycle securely and sustainably.
Quick Summary: E-Waste Collection Initiative
Dravincon's E-Waste Collection Initiative bridges the gap between technological advancement and environmental sustainability. Headquartered in the Tricity (Mohali, Panchkula, Chandigarh), we provide corporations with certified IT asset disposition services. Our program ensures NIST-grade data destruction followed by responsible recycling through ISO-certified partners, aiming to divert metric tonnes of electronic waste from landfills by 2030.
Our Environmental Commitment
Dravincon's CSR strategy is built on the pillars of transparency, security, and measurable ecological impact. We don't just dispose of hardware; we ensure its components are re-integrated into the circular economy.
Certified Disposal
Every piece of hardware we collect is processed through ISO 14001 and R2 certified recycling facilities, ensuring zero-landfill outcomes.
Resource Recovery
We specialize in recovering rare earth minerals and precious metals (gold, silver, copper) from retired electronics to reduce mining demand.
Community Impact
Portions of salvaged functional components are refurbished and donated to underfunded educational centers, bridging the digital divide.
Why E-Waste Matters
Global electronic waste is growing 3x faster than traditional waste. Most electronics contain toxic heavy metals like lead, mercury, and cadmium that leach into soil and water if not handled correctly. In India alone, over 3 million metric tonnes of e-waste are generated annually, with less than 15% being formally recycled.
At Dravincon, we believe that security experts should lead the way in hardware disposal, ensuring both data destruction and environmental safety. Our initiative aims to standardize how corporations handle their end-of-life IT assets.
Military-Grade Sanitization
Utilizing NIST 800-88 standards to ensure data is irrecoverable before recycling begins.
Green Logistics
Optimized pickup routes to minimize the carbon footprint of the collection process itself.
The Circular Tech Lifecycle
A transparent, step-by-step approach to electronic waste management.
Assessment
We analyze your inventory to categorize items into refurbishable, recyclable, or hazardous components.
Security Scrub
Hard drives and storage media undergo multi-pass wiping or physical degaussing to protect intellectual property.
Processing
Manual teardown and mechanical shredding to separate plastics, glass, and metal fractions.
Certification
Issuance of a Certified Destruction Certificate (CDC) for your corporate compliance and ESG reporting.
2030 Sustainability Roadmap
Our long-term commitment to environmental preservation and tech equality.
Partnering for a Greener Tomorrow
Our CSR initiative isn't just about waste; it's about building a community of responsible corporations. We are proud to be working with the Rotary Club of Panchkula to execute our e-waste collection activities, leveraging their extensive community network to drive environmental awareness and action.
Quarterly Impact Audits
Receive transparent data on the weight of metals and plastics diverted from landfills by your organization.
Secure Data Destruction
Rest easy knowing that your corporate data is permanently erased using military-grade standards before any recycling occurs.
Schedule a Collection
Request a pickup for your organization's retired hardware or query about our disposal standards.
Common Questions
We utilize NIST 800-88 military-grade sanitization protocols. Every drive is either multi-pass wiped or physically shredded, followed by a Certificate of Data Destruction (CoDD) for your compliance records.
While we are headquartered in the Tricity (Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali), we offer corporate collection services across major Indian metros including Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad through our certified logistics partners.
For official CSR collection requests, we typically look for a minimum of 20 units (Laptops/Desktops/Monitors). However, for our existing cybersecurity clients, we provide e-waste disposal regardless of quantity as part of our holistic lifecycle management.
